Hannah’s Treasure Chest (HTC) is a 2018 Eclipse Integrity Award winner in the category of Nonprofits 0-1 (Full-Time) Employees.
HTC was honored to win the coveted award at a gala celebration on May 8, 2018, in the David H. Ponitz Sinclair Center. The award recognizes organizations and individuals who demonstrate superior commitment to ethics and integrity in business practices and community interaction.
“This is a wonderful honor for the team at Hannah’s Treasure Chest,” HTC executive director Sarah Williams said. “I am proud of how our entire team works with dedication and integrity to serve area children in need with the essentials so they can grow and thrive.”
The nonprofit tied for the award with another outstanding local nonprofit, Sophie Kerrigan’s For the Love of Animals Foundation, which raises funds to rescue animals in need and also unites disabled veterans with companion animals. This was the first time in the 25-year history of the Dayton Better Business Bureau’s Eclipse Integrity Awards that two organizations have held the honor together.
Hannah’s Treasure Chest has a staff of one full-time and five part-time employees, along with a dedicated team of over 75 volunteers.
The respected children’s charity in Centerville, OH, enriches the lives of children in need by providing clothing, baby equipment, books, shoes, diapers and other essential items through a network of partner agencies in Butler, Greene, Montgomery, and Warren counties. Additional programs include Brighter Smiles dental kits, Beds for Babies and Giving Angels.
Since 2001, Hannah’s Treasure Chest has maintained a warehouse of donated children’s items to respond quickly to client requests. When a partner agency identifies a child in need, Hannah’s Treasure Chest provides a personalized care package to the agency, which in turn delivers them to the child.
